True and Sky in Shanghai, Together

True went to visit Sky in Shanghai over the weekend. This is the Bund from the terrace of a restaurant they ate at.

I saw True off at the train station in Beijing. We had dumplings before he left.

He took the bullet train, though he got on one that made many stops so the trip took about six hours.

Sky met him at the station in Shanghai.

They took a subway home and then hunted for a taxi.

This is True in Sky's room, which is a fairly typical size for a bedroom in local apartments in Shanghai.

The boys on the street.

The boys met our old friends the Cranley/Kanagaratnams at M on the Bund, a beautiful restaurant overlooking the river, owned by a friend of ours. They got the best table!

The river with the Pudong district on the other side looks beautiful at night.

Sky saw True off on Sunday. He had a faster train this time.

The train home.
