Haircut, 1976
My dear friend Louise Horwitz cut my hair shortly before I left for France in January 1976.
She had recently been diagnosed with Hodgkins disease, which she survived. But cancer haunted her for the rest of her life and she died a couple years ago from a brain tumor.
My friend, Ted Becker, is holding my queue. I don't remember who was filming - perhaps my mother. We were in the kitchen of our house on Powder Horn Hill Road in Wilton, Connecticut.
I was 19.
