The Thanksgiving Pictures
Here is one of the two turkey's we roasted.
I carved one. Our friend Jichuan carved the other.
The dinner crowd - three couples, two Chinese and one Indian. We put all the kids at a separate table.
The conversation is always interesting because of the different perspectives: one couple are mainland Chinese, but highly educated in the States. Another couple is Shanghainese (the man) and Taiwanese (the woman). The man studied in the States and met his wife at her family's Chinese restaurant where they both worked. The Indian couple, met at school in the states but come from different regions in India.
Anna challenged the Shanghainese guy (to her right in the photo) to a push up contest, in which he just managed to match her. It was a high-energy night.
