We hung around the resort on our first full day.

It was a beautiful, quiet place that overlooked rice paddies. This is a Chinese Pond Heron, or
Ardeola bacchus, on the prowl.

The Balinese put down offerings of flowers twice a day.

These were two on our doorstep in the morning.

We had tea with Balinese cakes.

They were delicious.

True had signed us up for a wood carving class.

It was fun ...

... though none of us became masters.

We swam a bit and read. It was a very relaxing day.
