Bachelor Boys

Anna flew to Tokyo this morning, leaving the boys and me on our own. We slept the morning away and then went out for some lunch about 3.

It is fun being with the boys at the ages they are, if not at the age that I am.

They are full of energy.

We went to a place called Curry Tiffin in a back alley of Stanley Market, a short walk from our home.

Sky is a regular there and we are on familiar, friendly terms with the staff - a young Nepalese girl, in particular.

We chose a table outside, the weather being fair.

Sky seems to be in constant contact with people on his phone.

But he's present and pleasant and relaxed.

After the meal, we drank two pots of masala tea while talking and laughing about silly things. It was a happy afternoon.

Then I paid the bill ...

... and we ambled back home.
