Halloween

Sky and I are in Chappaqua for Sky's first Halloween in the United States.

We arrived after midnight, in the wee hours of Monday morning. Sky slept in.

He awoke happy.

Chappaqua was blanketed with nearly a foot of snow.

We bought pumpkins and carved them - only the second time Sky has carved a pumpkin, or so he claims.

I love carving pumpkins...

...so I showed Sky the ropes.

He didn't do too bad.

Though he lost the tooth on his pumpkin's mouth - a common pitfall for novices.

He managed to finish with all of his fingers intact.

We put them on the porch to attract trick-or-treaters. Lots of kids came!
