Santa Monica

We had a five-hour layover in Los Angeles, so we took a taxi to Santa Monica.

We spent a few days there in 2002 when we left China for France.

We walked around the famous pier and looked at the rides the boys remembered taking when we were there before. This is one of them. They were little kids back then.

True and I had hot dogs on a stick - a version of the corndog - at the little shop on Muscle Beach. Then we headed back to the airport for our flight to Portland.
