Twelve

It was True's birthday today. He is 12. He had some friends sleep over and then took his birthday cake to eat with another friend who is in the hospital with a broken leg.

He brought half of the cake home and we had it after dinner, which was sukiyaki beef with rice and nori (seaweed) that you roll and eat like sushi. Anna made it because it is one of True's favorite meals.
