First Day Of School

School started today. Sky is in 10th grade, True is in 7th grade. The boys were up early for breakfast. Sky had Frosted Flakes.

True had spaghetti and hot chocolate. True always has unorthodox breakfasts.

Both boys were happy and excited.

But neither wanted us to see them off at the bus. So, for the first time in their lives, they left for their first day of school without us. True left first.

Sky had a little time to kill, so we stepped out onto the balcony to take his picture.

He is a 'student ambassador' this year. He was at school last week to show parents of incoming students around and help new students register. This week, he will help incoming students find their way around school.

He's very good at that sort of thing.

Then, Sky, too, was off, unaccompanied by his parents.
