North Point Office

In May, we moved into our new offices in the North Point district of Hong Kong.

The offices are in the only 'grade A' building in an otherwise rather scruffy neighborhood. We are across the street from an industrial building where one of our partners, a Chinese newspaper, has its offices.

North Point is actually quite interesting. It was where many Shanghainese settled when they fled China after the Communist takeover in 1949.

We are on the 8th floor - a very lucky number in Chinese.

We may change the name of the company soon.

There aren't many people working for us yet, but the offices are nice.

My office is a glass cube.

It overlooks what will be the newsroom.
