The Christmas season arrived. We bought a shorter tree than usual. Sky was easily able to reach the top and plant the star.

We waited for everyone to arrive.

The boys were excited.

We celebrated Sky's birthday and Anna made her usual cake.
It was delicious, as always.

Finally, with everyone assembled, we had a big turkey dinner on Christmas Eve.
The bird was perfectly done in my opinion.
I didn't do a bad job carving this year, either.
We all talked a lot and we all ate well.

The tree was lovely, though short.

The boys went to bed after laying out cookies and milk for the mysterious old man.

The next morning, Sky and True took turns handing out gifts - that's the tradition.

The gifts were appreciated on all sides.

A gift for grandma.

A waving cat.

Gloves for True.

Something special from Uncle Todd ...

... and something big from Nanny Nina!

Then, Anna made a big breakfast ...

... which we all enjoyed.
The conversation was lively.

Life is good.

The next morning, we all went out for dim sum.

The point is to talk and eat and eat and talk ...

... and talk and eat.

We did a good job.

On another day, we took a tram around Hong Kong ...

... and ate barbecued pork and roast duck in a small place.

Sky likes that food.
