Shanghai Revisited

While True and I were in Shanghai, we went to visit the Bund. We took a walk along the promenade. It was a crowded and crazy as ever.

Hawkers were selling all sorts of fun stuff, including these dragon kites. I bought some for the kids during a trip to Beijing about a year ago but we have never flown them.

True remembered some of it all, particularly the Pearl Tower across the river in Pudong.

But mostly he just enjoyed the scene - despite my nonstop tour guide monologue.

We went to dinner with dear old friends on the terrace of M on the Bund, now a landmark restaurant in Shanghai owned by another friend. It was a wonderful evening.
