True's Fish

The other day, Sky went down to Chatelet, where there's a concentration of pet stores, to buy some goldfish for a school project. True was fascinated by the idea of having fish and begged me to take him to buy some for his room.

We went the next afternoon. He was more excited than I had seen him in a long time - and that's saying a lot.

He knew exactly where he wanted to go. Chatelet is on the Right Bank, north of Ile de la Cite and Notre Dame.

He led me into a big pet store.

And soon we were discussing fish and aquariums with a store clerk.

We got the fish home and set up the tank on True's desk.

True was delighted. Sky thought they were pretty cool, too, though he said he didn't want any of his own. The school project was enough for him. Ever generous True offered to give one of his three fish to Sky, but Sky declined.

The fish are very relaxing to watch.
