True is Ten

True offically turned ten today.

We had already had a big birthday party for him in the Jardin d'Acclimitation this past weekend. But Anna has made it a tradition to bring a birthday cake to his class on his actual birthday.

Having time on my hands, I went along.

The kids sang and True blew, according to the ancient formula.

While the kids ate their cake, Anna gave a talk about writing.

The kids were very responsive. It was fun to see True in his classroom mode.

I'm sure we all remember holding our hands aloft like that.

We didn't have a cake for dessert after dinner, but Anna did have four cupcakes.

True blew the candle out and his birthday was over.
