Nearly Done

The boys (and Anna) are in the midst of the end of the school year rush. So many things to do. The boys are exhausted.

True went into Sky's room to finish his homework tonight and when Anna went to check on him, she found him fast asleep.

The weekend began with the final Saturday soccer session of the year. The boys play on the sports field at school. True plays from 10:30 a.m. to noon and Sky from noon to 1:30. Sky is in the middle, above.

True normally stays and plays on his own with friends while Sky's games are going on.

Another shot of Sky.

Anna makes sure there is always water available. I'm hopeless at remembering such things.

Then Sunday morning, we hosted a piano recital for the woman who teaches Anna and the boys. These are the students (except the woman in white. Anna is the only adult student). The teacher, Sarah, is in the back.

After a rest, we went out to the corner flower shop to buy some geraniums. The boys rode their scooters. Anna and I took the car.

Anna took these pictures of the boys.

We later drove to Place Vendome. Anna and True and Sky waited while I parked the car.

True scootered a bit as he had brought his scooter along.

We didn't really have a plan and when we passed Angelina's the boys decided we should go inside. This is a picture of their famous Mont Blanc pastries. I've never tasted them.

It was too warm to have hot chocolate, so Anna and I had salads. True had spinach and goat cheese quiche. Sky had a chocolate sundae.

Afterwards, True decided he wanted hot chocolate after all.

Then we walked to W.H. Smith, the English language bookstore on the Rue de Rivoli.

We bought some books and walked across the street to the Tuileries.

We sat and read for a while.

True rode his scooter.

Finally, we headed home. This is True in Place Vendome again.
