The Tree

This is a picture of True studying his tree for the fourth grade "tree project." The tree, a Caucasian Wingnut, was Sky's tree for his fourth grade tree project, during which the students study a tree throughout the year. We mistakenly thought it was an Ash when Sky did his project.

True takes it quite seriously, as did Sky.

Here, he is making a leaf sketch.

It took some time.

But at last, he was finished. I didn't mind waiting as it was a beautiful autumn day.

True took a picture of the tree as we were leaving.

Then he took several of me.

We drove to the park, which we normally don't do. It's just a short walk from the apartment.

True couldn't resist a self portrait.

Sky was doing his homework, shirtless for some reason, when we got home.
