The Boys Today

Taken from where I sit. Sky was poring over the Lego Web site, dreaming of the new Lego sets he might one day own. It's an occasional pastime, not unlike the hours my brothers and I once spent poring over the toy section of the Sears & Roebuck catalogue. The possibility of the improbable was exciting enough.

True was sitting on the couch telling me about a math test that he had scored poorly on. He was trying to figure out what went wrong. He said it wasn't his fault because there wasn't enough time. That summed up so many of life's dilemmas.
