Real Madrid
We laid around the hotel until after noon and then set out for the Prado. True was hungry, though, so we stopped in a small, very Spanish restaurant across from the museum and ordered everything that we could read on the menu.
True had a cheeseburger, which was surprisingly fresh and juicy, served on toast. The rest of us ate octopus, calamari, anchovies, air cured ham and flan. With coffee, it cost 95 euros.
The octopus is on the left. The anchovies with olives are on the right. Both were delicious.
With True fed, we were able to go to the Prado - for a while. True stayed busy drawing approximations of the paintings around him. Reubens' Adam and Eve is in the background.

Then we went to the day's main attraction, a Real Madrid soccer game. For anyone who doesn't follow soccer, Real means Royal in Spanish and Real Madrid is one of the most popular teams in Europe. We could only get seats high in the stadium, but it was still fun.
It got loud.
The boys loved it, of course. We bought Real Madrid jerseys after the game...

...and then faced the problem of getting back to the hotel. We took a train to Atocha station and caught a taxi from there.
