Waxing Nostalgic

We went to the Musee Grevin, one of the oldest wax museums in Europe, (after Madame Tussaud's of London). It was started by a journalist and opened in 1882.

We took the metro.

True ate snacks along the way.

There was one place in the museum where you could sit with Golda Meir and some other figures and take a picture that made it look as though a waiter was spilling drinks on you.

Afterward, we poked about the shops in the arcades, or passages couverts, which haven't changed much since they were built in the early 1800s.
